Las Casitas, A Belmond Hotel, Colca Canyon is a tranquil 24 hectare estate located 100 miles north of Arequipa - bordered on each edge by a ravine overlooking the mighty Colca Canyon. The area is so untouched many local traditions remain - making this an ideal location for retreats and a great destination for treks and tours of the valley. The grounds surrounding the casitas are impeccably landscaped and maintained and there are many viewpoints affording wonderful panoramas of the valley.

Las Casitas strives to make as little impact as possible on its local environment and is largely self-sufficient with a small private ranch and three greenhouses - equipped with its own modern solar energy system. The 600 square meter Spa Samay features a small greenhouse - one double treatment room - two single treatment rooms and one deluxe couples treatment suite with indoor soaking tub. Facilities also include a meeting room - library - steam room - sauna and outdoor swimming pool heated year-round.

Dotted throughout the property are 20 private and spacious casitas offering supreme luxury. Each casita features a luxurious bedroom - spacious lounge and large bathroom all complemented by a private terrace and heated plunge pool. All casitas were created using natural materials with brick walls and Laja tiles. Casitas offer a minimum of 120 square meters of space - 80 meters of this is indoor space. Each casita has a foyer that leads to the bedroom and lounge area. In the seating area - a comfortable sofa faces a working open fireplace.
